Just like you...another feel good Friday.

A friend of ours named Carl Faddis, he's singer/song writer has helped produce a sensitivity training tool.
We first met Carl in an outdoor backyard type concert, We were invited by another friend named Rod Casteel to come and join him and his band for some entertainment and a nice afternoon out listening to music. It was a potluck style and the hosts supplied the wine if I remember right. Donations could be made to help support the band.

To shorten the story a bit, Rod Casteel with Moondanse Trio introduced us to Carl Faddis and gave Carl the stage and he sang. Wow, He was great. Nice tones to his voice, and a great spirit. Well, we chatted for awhile and he has sent emails since then telling us of his progress in his new venture.
This was his little note today;
"I had the honor of co-producing a video for LTD to use in our annual training classes. Wrote a song and we threw in the camera work and now this thing seems to have a life of its own. Other transit agencies around the country are requesting it for use in their trainings as well. I co-produced it with my dear friend Richard Shrope, a fellow bus operator. There were others involved, providing wisdom, encouragement, camera time, graphic support, computer support and so on. Wonderful people who all believed in the power of image and music to touch the heart and perhaps turn the keel to feel. A labor of love. 1st project like that I'd ever been involved with."

"You will see the stars of the show. People. Wonderful, beautiful, kind, diverse people...Just Like You..."

This is his Video...

Yay! Carl I'm so proud!

Nice job - not over-the-top sentimental or condescending. It took me a while to realize what the point was though. I didn't realize the "stars" were "different" until one of the wheelchairs...not the first either. duh
